The legendary listening room is known for propelling undiscovered talents into the national spotlight. John Mayer, Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, The Indigo Girls, and The Civil Wars all stood on the stage before their careers took off.

The inmate and cozy space offers a one-of-a kind live music experience with a superior sound system and acoustics. The audience is capped at around 180 people in this room. Patrons are encouraged to silence their cell phones and fully immerse themselves in the music, making it a beloved destination for music enthusiasts.

Past performers at Eddie’s Attic read like a who’s who of music cementing the venue’s status as a must-visit for music lovers in the South. The list of nationally known talents who have played this stage over the past three decades includes Sheryl Crow, Justin Bieber Ani DiFranco, Brandi Carlile, The Black Crowes, Al Stewart, David Wilcox, Bill Mallonee, Kevn Kinney, Edwin McCain, Richard Shindell, Ellis Paul, Francine Reed, Patty Larkin, Malcomb Holcombe, Larry Jon Wilson, Eric Taylor, Glen Phillips, Dana Cooper, Billy Joe Shaver, Pierce Pettis, Kate Campbell, Cheryl Wheeler, Cliff Eberhardt, Vance Gilbert, Lowen & Navarro, India.Arie and Brian Vander Ark, and Don Conoscenti.

Every other Monday night, Eddie’s Attic hosts an open mic event, providing a platform for aspiring performing songwriters of all skill levels. Each acts is allotted ten minutes to showcase their talent through two original songs. A panel of judges chooses three finalists to perform one more song at the end of the night. Winners from each Monday night earn a slot to the coveted the Bi-Annual Songwriter’s Open-Mic Shootout where a panel of music industry professionals crowns a season winner.
