MARTA
The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has three rapid transit stations within Decatur city limits providing easy access to metro Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. All three rail stations are on the blue line. Our downtown square sits right above the main MARTA Decatur Station which means you’ll exit right out into our bustling downtown square (Church Street entrance exit on east side). Exit west (Swanton Way entrance/exit) for the MARTA bus loop.

The CCTMA Shuttle
The CCTMA Shuttle offers FREE transportation between the Emory University campus and downtown Decatur. The CCTMA shuttle is funded by the Clifton Corridor Transportation Management Association.

Downtown Decatur parking is plentiful, convenient and affordable! There are 300 metered spaces, 2,200 deck and lot spaces, and private spaces located conveniently in front of many of Decatur’s fine merchants. Parking in Decatur is plentiful in decks, metered spaces, and private lots.

Parks + Playgrounds in Decatur, Georgia
Decatur’s newest and largest greenspace Legacy Park has a brand new, inclusive playground with climbing equipment, slides, tunnel, and a group swing! Universally-designed and sensory-rich, the playground goes beyond minimum accessibility standards to create a fun play experience for the widest possible array of physical and cognitive abilities. Enter at the south driveway to Legacy Park, 500 S. Columbia Drive. Turn right onto the main drive. The playground is located across from the Hyatt Cottage. There is parking near the cottages as well as near the administration building.
