Sip and stroll around Decatur! Thanks to the city’s open container ordinance, you can take your cocktails, wine and beer to-go within Decatur’s restaurant districts.
Grab a drink and explore at your own pace. Wander around the Square, soak up some sun and some art, or bar hop with friends.
A few important guidelines:
- Drinks must be purchased from City of Decatur restaurants and served in the designated off-premise cups — 7 or 12 ounce plastic cups with official logo.
- No bottles or cans allowed.
- One drink at a time.
- Keep it in the district! Beverages must be enjoyed (consumed) within the restaurant district boundaries (see map) and not within a vehicle.
