Trick or Treat Week
October 26-31
Gather your little ghouls and goblins for Trick or Treat Week in Downtown Decatur. Kids and teens can dress up in costume and visit spook-tacular stops throughout downtown Saturday, October 26 through Thursday, October 31! Look for the “Trick or Treat Stop” pumpkins in the windows of our Decatur storefronts.
Stop by the Decatur Visitor Center, 113 Clairemont Ave.; we’re on the list!
Neighborhood Haunts
Step beyond our standout shops and into our neighborhoods where locals compete each year for the coveted Commissioner’s Cauldron in the Decorate Decatur Competition. Take a walk or drive to see front yards possessed with otherworldly scenes and humorous haunts. Jack-o-lanterns, black cats, ghosts, giant spiders, and skeletons too!
The winner is announced on Halloween Night, and awards are presented at the Nov. 4 Commissioners Meeting.
